Ballistic Weapons is a mod that is designed to give Unreal Tournament a more tactical type of gameplay by replacing the weapons with a batch of unique, more realistic, weapons that are based on a new, enhanced weapon system.

New features are added, like reloading, realistic aiming and area specific damage. All the effects and items are replaced too and we have even used completely new sounds for everything

New in v1.72 (check their site for changes in v1.70 and v1.71)

Dropped weapons sink into floor instead of UT effect
Ballistic Weapons mutator replaces non-pickup wepons
Mac/Linux spinning screen bug fixed
Brass sinks into floor
Priotites tweaked
Starting with melee weapon fixed
Pistol settings tweaked
Various core changes and feature additions
