Now, I'm not a big fan of symmetrical maps. Why, you ask? They're balanced and fun to play, you say.
The reason is, I prefer realism over balance. If one player has an advantage over another, fine by me. In fact, I prefer it that way. But, besides the fact that it's symmetrical, this map looks like it'll be fun to play. Lots of chokepoints, plenty of tank traps, and just about everything else you need for a couple of hours of good, clean trench warfare.
My only quibbles? First, the issue with the symmetry (keep the concept, but change the arrangement of buildings, roads, and so on on both sides so they're not identical), and, second, the blandness of the textures. Can't you have a little variety in texturing? It'd make things a lot more interesting.
