I think sometimes people just want different looking lightsaber blades when it comes to modding. It’s like they’re saying they’re bored of George Lucas’ vision of the blade itself and need something different to get excited about the weapon again. Then there are people like me that like to stay within the vision boundaries when making blade skins.

Well, DarthDingDong is back with another one of his mods that have that unique skin for the saber blades in the first [i]Knights of the Old Republic[/i] game. This time we get a special treat with those weapons because the author got special permission from T7nowhere to use his Darth Malak lightsaber hilt. In case you have no idea about T7nowhere and his custom lightsaber hilts, you can find out more about his work in his [url=http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/Weapons_of_the_Old_Republic;74001]Weapons of the Old Republic[/url] mod. The author didn’t include a picture of the hilt if you need to know what the hilt will look like with the new blade textures, find the picture with Darth Malak and then look at the lightsaber he’s holding and that is what is in this mod.

These are not upgradable lightsabers. The author explains in his ree why he didn’t go that direction. This means that they will have traditional damage attributes without the ability to get stronger. You will also have to use the cheat console to get these weapons once you install this mod. The author has provided information in the ree file how to get them. Enjoy the mod! :D
