Here is an interesting file that will allow you to clean GTA Vice City from additional maps, where this will remove any modified map files and restore it back to the original version of the game without re-installing the entire game. This can be a useful tool especially if you want to save time reinstalling (obviously), and for when things go wrong, although backing up the game folder would be probably more useful.
