Description
Ashura strikes again. :P

This mod offers two new lightsaber hilts, both being designed to fit a wookie jedi. The hilts are almost identical, since they use the same model. In fact, the only difference between them is that one is (almost) all wood, and the other is wood with a lot of chrome trim. The model offers a unique shroud and grip, and even has a ring to attach to one's belt.

Review:
Well, they're certainly very interesting hilts. I can't say they'd fit my personal taste, but I'm sure we can find a home for them around here.

The model itself is actually at a rather high level of quality, which can be attributed to Ashura's skill with a modeling program. The textures aren't quite as good as the model though. While the chrome version is ok, there appears to be line in the shroud caused by not texturing the entire UV map, and the wood version's shroud/trim looks a little strange to me. Although, it could just be my experience (or lack thereof) with wood in real life, so I won't count it against the rest of the mod. Shaders are present, so metal lovers rejoice.

Bugs:
Yeah, there are two bugs. (One for each hilt? :P)

Bug 1: The models are placed juuuust a little to far forward in the player's hands. (That is, the shroud is too close to the hand)

Bug 2: The saber files aren't complete. For both sabers, the on/off/loop sounds aren't defined, (resulting in default darkside sounds being used), and there's no mention of a saber length. This means the blade will be the default 32 length, rather than the normal 40 that comes with most single-blade hilts. Not a huge difference, but it's enough that you'd notice in a comparison shot for sure, and you might notice just by looking at the blades.

In all, a nice pair of hilts. They'd be much better with a few bug fixes.
