Want a scary looking skin? Well we got one here for you! It is named Maverick, which to be honest doesn't sound the least bit terrifying. But just take a look at the screenshots below... pretty creepy eh?

What we have here is a reskin of the Cultist model. There are a few features that I really like on this skin and that make it stand out from the crowd of Cultist skins. First of all, the eyes, they actually glow! I have seen many skins with scary looking red or other evil coloured eyes, but they never glowed. Actually having the eyes glow ads that extra level of creepyness, don't you think?

Secondly there is a very nice shader applied to the skin. It sort of looks like a shiny shader, but you will notice (if you have dynamic glow on) that from certain angles the shine actually has a slight glow to it, like it is reflecting a strong light. This is a very nice feature also and one I have only really seen done in maps, I don't recall seeing it on a skin before. Lastly there are the new sounds, which are Ragnos sounds. To be honest, the Ragnos set of sounds is not used nearly enough in my opinion; they sound really cool and fit very nicely with a creepy skin such as this!

There are character customisation options included, which work both in singleplayer and multiplayer and allow you to mash together the default and team skin body parts in whatever order you like.

There are also team skins included, each with eyes that denote the team colour and slightly differently coloured clothing. Personally I think that the red team skin looks like some kind of mummy, risen from its tomb...

Ehhem, anyway, all in all a very nice set of skins here which I am most impressed with! There were no bugs that I could find when testing, so that's all good. If you guys fancy a creepy looking skin to use ingame, then I strongly recommend you try this one. ;)
