Jck87 is back - after nearly four years - with a new update to their mod, [i]A Galaxy of Shapers[/i]. What this mod does is to allow the to change their shape in the game via either dialogue with one of a selection of characters in the game, including Trask, Sarna and Zelka (see the ree for details), but also via a computer on board the [i]Ebon Hawk[/i] (accessible by talking to Canderous) and HK-47. The changes are all avoidable, and the mod uses an automated installer for ease, though this should not be mistaken for the TSLPatcher, and will not patch for compatibility.

New in v0.41 are the ability to revert to normal using the Ebon Hawk shaper computer, HK's ability to change your shape, different party member options, and some voiced text options. Overall the mod is well put-together and the author has noted the known bugs in the ree, which are ones likely to come up given what the mod does. It must be noted however, that given the number of game files modified by this mod, incompatibilities are very likely, and it might have been preferable from this perspective for the author to have used the TSLPatcher rather than their own installer. Nevertheless, if you've ever wanted a way to change your character's shape without using the save-game editor, this may well be the mod for you!
